Description

You might have a special piece of seaglass from a trip to the beach lying around – what could you do with it?

This is a challenging class over two sessions (in the same day) using a variety of techniques. Session 1 – 10am – 12pm, developing those skills setting a glass bead in copper. Session 2 12:30pm – about 2:30pm completing your setting using silver.

Your seaglass needs to be relatively smooth and flat, 10 – 40mm across and about 2 – 6mm thick. We do stock some seaglass if you do not have your own.

You can set your piece as a ring or a pendant.

Bezel Setting is challenging process, although with concentration, a steady hand and a little help, it is suitable for those with crafting/practical skills or basic silversmithing experience.
